NBA Odds For 2022 Championship

There are less than two weeks remaining in the NBA regular season. The NBA play-in tournament is almost here and the NBA playoffs will officially begin two weeks from tomorrow.

Some people would want to take a break from betting on the NBA and maybe play at an online casino instead. However, there are still people placing bets for the upcoming 2022 NBA Championship. Who are some of the favorites to potentially win it all.

Phoenix Suns +300

Their odds have recently jumped up from +350 the other day. The fact that their odds have recently jumped up tells us that Vegas loves them to win it all this year for the first time in franchise history. They were just in the NBA Finals last year before losing to the Milwaukee Bucks in six games after blowing a 2-0 series lead.

They are currently the number one seed with a 62-14 record so far this season in the Western Conference and they are showing no signs of slowing down. It is very possible that Phoenix may steamroll everyone in the Western Conference. Could they be the team where they don’t lose a game until the NBA Finals?

Devin Booker and Chris Paul are one of the best backcourts in the NBA. DeAndre Ayton and other role players do their things well. Head coach Monty Williams has done a great job of putting his players in positions to succeed.

 Brooklyn Nets +550

The fact that these odds are for the Brooklyn Nets are this high is a complete joke in itself. Brooklyn has shown no signs of being the top team in the Eastern Conference all year. They are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-37 record so far this season. The Nets haven’t had much chemistry going on.

They are in the play-in tournament as of right now and could miss the NBA Playoffs entirely if they slip up. Yes, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are very talented, but do they have the right mesh of role players to make a deep playoff run? Ben Simmons hasn’t even been activated yet from his back injury and they aren’t even sure if he will be available this year.

There are way too many teams in the Eastern Conference for them to compete with. Head coach Steve Nash will need to figure out his rotations once everyone comes back.

Milwaukee Bucks +650

At least they are the third favorites to win it all this year. The Milwaukee Bucks are looking to go back-to-back this year. This would be the first time a team went back-to-back since 2016-2017 and the 2017-2018 Golden State Warriors.

Milwaukee is currently the number two seed in the Eastern Conference with a 48-28 record so far this season. They are not far behind the Miami Heat for the number one overall seed in the Eastern Conference. The Bucks have so much talent on their roster. Giannis Antetokounmpo might be the best player in the world right now.

Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Grayson Allen, Wesley Matthews, Brook Lopez, and Bobby Portis compliment him well. Mike Budenholzer is a very underrated head coach. They are loaded and will be extremely difficult to beat four times out of seven in a playoff series.

Golden State Warriors +700

The fact that the Golden State Warriors are this high is very surprising. Golden State is dealing with injuries to key players. Steph Curry will be re-evaluated on April 11th. If he is good to go, they have a shot. If he is not, they are in big trouble and could potentially be a first-round exit, instead of a deep playoff run.

Draymond Green and Klay Thompson have not been healthy all year either. Steve Kerr, the head coach, has a done good job this year coping with it and having other role players step up in their absence.

They are currently the number four seed in the Western Conference with a 48-29 record so far this season in the NBA. The Golden State Warriors are the complete x-factor for the upcoming NBA Playoffs however here as well.
